This meant a lot to me to read this. I have been sober for 11 months this time. ( the longest continuous stretch in 25 years) The difference this time is that I have stayed away from AA and have been running 4 days a week. I have had a hard time explaining how things are different for me, but you put it into words perfectly. It brought tears to my eyes to know that someone else understands.
